Oui le kiteloop donne un déplacement horizontal mais en situation normal ou le vent arrive face au kite et non de par le dessous du kite comme lors d'un courant ascendant. Voici ce qui à été dit à ce sujet sur kf.com dans mon lien ci-haut :
"If you have ever ridge soared or been in an updraft a kiteloop is the last thing you want to do! slowly turn and fly out the side. Throwing loops is good in lighter winds to reverse your flight path and bring you back to the hill. You throw a kiteloop in overpowered wind on a slope you will not be coming down because you need to fly away from the lift band! Simple paragliding stuff! What do you think would of happened to malik if he had thrown a kiteloop on that hillside? Answer.. He would still be in the air"
Un autre :
"I don't think he has the experance of true "flight". And has concluded that his no wind late loops would have the same effect if he was powered and not falling. Thoose of us getting lift know whats up........... Should you use kiteloops if you are falling to the ground , Yes. Should you loop in a updraft to "get out of it" hell NO"
