FULL KITE >> Lost/Stolen Board OBX July 26th

Hi it's Terry from BLOW KITE in the OBX. I am not going to use my translation app since it's not accurate. If someone would not mind translating that would be great.

Yesterday a young man came into my shop here in Buxton to see if I would buy a board from him. He said his Grandmother bought it for him and she thought it was a surfboard and not a kitesurf board. I asked him which shop she bought it at and he said the kite shop up in Nags Head. There is no kite shop in Nags Head. I told him that to give him a fair price I need to know how much she paid for it so let's give her a call right now. He took his phone out and looked at it then said "I'm really bad about remembering numbers". I knew he had either found it or stole it.

I told him I would take it in on consignment and then quoted a price that would appeal to his greed. Of course he left the board for me to sell. I called the Sheriff and they said a woman called in to them about this board on July 26th. The Sherrif's Department now have the board but told me the contact number for the woman is not working. The Sherrif will be able to verify the proper owner if she will call their office.

Histoire courte; si vous connaisse une fille qui se serait fait voler son surf au Cap Hatteras au mois de Juillet ; le 27 cette personne aurait appelé pour le déclarer volé. Et bien le Sheriff l'a en sa possession mais le contact pour rejoindre la fille n'est pas bon. Donc comme je disais, si vous savez c'est qui appelea la elle va etre contente de ravoir son surf.

C'est un jeune qui est allé à la boutique "Blow Kite" pour essayer de le vendre. Terry trouvant son histoire louche a dit au gars de le laisser en consigne et a ensuite appelé la police. Le board etait effectivement déclaré vol.

Il ajoute aussi qu'ils ont un deal de 3 pour 2; t'achete deux flexifoil et ils t'en donnent un.

She is from Quebec. That is why I posted this here. They tried to call her but the numjber she gave the Sheriff is not in service. She identified the board and needs to call them with the same information to get her board back.

Or the phone number? we could look it up maybe. or even if uncorrect, it may look familiar to someone.
It's a tiny community. And most are here on KF.ca too. I am sure we could identify her with few info.

The Sherrif's department knows her name JP and they don't share that info. If she is on here or her friends see this they will recognize the date and location. Spread the word people.
