The Raptor Pro is perhaps one of the most acclaimed boards ever released by CrazyFly. Since this board was so successful, the CrazyFly team has decided to continue this legacy and has released the new 2011 Raptor Pro model. The new model is based on the same freestyle and freeride efficiency pattern, but it is constructed using the latest technology and features tweaks which make it even more efficient. Especially for those who love freestyle and freeride, CrazyFly has released the new Raptor Pro model. The board comes in three sizes and features a compact shape with a shorter outline. This profile allows it to be very dynamic out on the water and offer a smooth and fast glide. The medium flex of the board, enhanced by the Crazy Flex design of the tips allows the board to be very flexible and responsive. The tips are actually thinner to allow the board to absorb any shock from the wave impact, but are very solig and have increased torsion strength.
The concave bottom design provides optimal power release and improves the grip, while the new tail outline provides extra pop for high jumps and extra hangtime. The ABS rails increase steering response and stability, while the speed rocker line enhances top velocity and acceleration. The board is pretty powerful and fast, but user friendly and easy to control, so it is perfect for any rider who loves freestyle and freeride.
The CrazyFly Raptor Pro is constructed using the Nano Fiber Carbon Technology II, based on ultra light and stiff carbon fiber layups. At the same time, the construction is based on a CNC shaped full wood core which maximizes tensile strength and makes the board lighter. The whole structure is protected by a UV Stabil Top Sheet Foil, which prevents UV light and abrasion damage.
Extra comfort during the whole ride is provided by soft, dual density EVA pads which can be adjusted to suit the stance chosen by the rider. Fast, maneuverable and powerful, the CrazyFly Raptor Pro is truly a next generation board. It comes complete with Quick Fix II footstraps , handle, G10 fins and EVA footpads.
